Excellence in awesomeness is the only way to describe Saturday February 11 at the Holland Project. You know why? Cause The Pharmacy is playing with Southpaw Stranger and Memory Motel. Seattle’s The Pharmacy plays great pop rock and roll. Southpaw Stranger is the glorious Phoenix risen out of indie rock past and Memory Motel are some youngsters making some very fine music. There is a special connection you make with folks in the fragile world of DIY music, zines, and art. You are all there because you simultaneously share the same passion, love, and simple necessity to just make things and survive. On February 12th 2012 come celebrate with The Holland Project that necessity!! MY FLAG IS ON FIRE is in the midst of post production of their 3rd full length record entitled POST POP due out later this year. February 12th will debut their set of old and new songs backed by a visual-film created by director Toshadeva Palani. Letters has been making music out of Olympia, WA since 2007. Spanning from soft acoustics to harsh noise, Letters typically combines elements of indie folk, electro, sound collage, and ambient noise to create the variety of sounds that call themselves Letters. Poppet is the alter ego of California raised musician Molly Raney. Using a keyboard, drum machine, loop pedal, and her own voice, Poppet creates fully orchestrated electro-loop-pop. Weird pop. Weird pop for the post-apocalypse. Birds included. Spaceship recommended.

Walls (featuring members of Iron Lung, Cold Sweat, and Lords of Light) is well thought out punk/noise rock, meeting somewhere between sparse ugliness and punk aggression. Joining them is True Radical Miracle from Australia. TRM will be jamming out very dense, awesome noise rock! NOTHING FROM AUSTRALIA IS BAD!
