Saturday, April 7 will be a night of Reno powerhouses! Featuring local no gooders the abominable Elephant Rifle and undead Theee Indoors! Coming originally from Reno, but now from Seattle, to suck your blood is White Coward (EX-Short Hair) and always from Seattle dirge noise rock guys Haunted Horses (it’s already got Haunted in the name!!!!!). April, 12th Zebu! is an awesome experimental rock ‘n’ roll band all the way from Brooklyn, New York! It includes members of The Wild! Locals Eviction (grungy reggae punk rock), Lonely Planet Travel (soulful sax rock), and the Letdowns (awesome punk rock) round out the bill. Handsome Vultures finally have a recording in the physical dimension of grooves. So it’s time to celebrate by hosting a release show on April 13! On March 22 at the Holland Project, perfect metal and hardcore fusers, Early Graves will be blasting out the heavies. As stated before Early Graves is the perfect equilibrium of the time-tested equation Metal+Hardcore. These guys jam out a little less noisy (Converge-ish), but maybe even heavier. Coming with them is New Jersey’s East of the Wall, & they play progressive math-like metal. Also playing is metal killers Knightfall and slower than molasses (in a good way) Glacier. Thursday, March 22 at the Holland Project 7:00PM $7 ALL AGES!!!!
It’s time for the 4th annual Teen Art Night at the NMA on March 23rd. And this year we’re going ROCK AND ROLL!
From 6:30-8:30 we will be running Craft Labs, including a mix tape exchange, silkscreen posters, make-your-own album art, and way more. Please bring a CD or flash drive with your favorite song for the mix CD station.
During the Craft Labs, we’re going to have two awesome DJ’s and two local bands: Memory Motel and Spitting Image. At 8:30, to really top off the night, we’re also going to screen Dragonslayer, a movie about Skater Josh “Skreech” Sandoval with a killer soundtrack. STAY TUNED FOR MOR DETAILS!

Wednesday March 7th is a night worth marking on your calendar! We have a Laura Stevenson and the Cans paired with Lucas Young and the Wilderness. Two bands with amazing sing/song writers at the helm and not to mention the cold old formula of name+band. But the truest similarity of the two groups is they both totally rule! SO COME ON OUT! The Film centers around Jay Reatard, born Jimmy Lee Lindsey, who was one of the most prolific artist of the last twenty years, having 70+ releases since 1995.
