This Saturday, we are very proud and excited to announce Reno’s The Young Lions (members of Thee Indoors, Elephant Rifle, My Flag is on Fire, Swahili) will be reuniting for the first time in 6 years. Also playing are Reno’s newest heart throbs Cathedral Ghost, as well as the return of War Tree (or some kind of incarnation of it :) 100% of the door will benefit The Holland Project. This is a complete not-to-be-missed! Young Lions are one of the best things to come out of Reno ever! Come for this special evening for everyone. Don’t Panic, Reno’s premier ska band is playing their final show, and they plan on making it a show you will not soon forget. With the smooth sound of Lonely Planet Travel and the mighty musicianship of the ever grooving Freebasing Coffee Grounds, this show from start to finish will be terrific. Today’s greatest glam garage star King Tuff will be joined by Audacity (his backing band) and Cathedral Ghost. This will be our first date of the soon to be infamous Holland Opening month at the new space 140 Vesta. King Tuff is the solo act of Kyle Thomas from Witch (J Mascis stoner metal) and Feathers. King Tuff has the raddest sounds around, drawing on 70′s glam with a perfect mix of modern garage! Coming with KT is Audacity, Fullerton’s best rock and rollers! WOW! October 13 is going to be the jam cause we got garage punk legends Pierced Arrows coming through on October 13th. They’re playing at the Holland Project (140 VESTA) with Don’t and The Z-28′s. If you haven’t visited the garage in a while Pierced Arrows is the project of Fred Cole and his lovely wife Toody Cole of Dead Moon. Fred’s been creating the best garage since the mid 1960′s and what’s even more impressive is that none of it is bad!  Don’t has equally impressive claims to fame featuring Sam Henry, the drummer from the Wipers! To round out the night we have tantrum throwers The Z-28′s, garage rock that might just be the best in town. STARSKATE®ALLYOURSISTERS®The Dawner Party

Let the math noise pop weird post punk used to be instrumental roll on! On October 21st Starskate is playing with All Your Sisters and the Dawner Party. Starskate is ex Batman vs. Predator and completely awesome. All Your Sisters is Fafafa’s Jordan Morrison rocking the guitar with a drum machine and programmed synths, it also is awesome. The Dawner Party fall between Sonic Youth and something much stupider, but in a good awesome kind of way.
