ABOUT THE SPACE
The Holland Project Gallery (located at 140 Vesta Street, Reno, NV 89502) is a versatile space that can feature large exhibitions or smaller installations. During any month we have 1-3 exhibits on display with gallery hours of Tues.-Fri. 3-6PM or by appointment (call 775-742-1858 or email sarah@hollandreno.org).
We have had the opportunity to host work from the likes of excellent local artists like Ahren Hertel, Ron Rash, Amy Nikol, Omar Pierce, Andrei Hill, Nick Larsen and Jen Graham. As well as regional artists like Bill Daniel, Jacob Redmond, Hamburger Eyes, Seth Neefus, Scott Greenwalt and Film Por Vida. It has also played host to numerous community shows like Paper-Thin – a collection of concert fliers that served as a musical history, or (in)disposable – a smattering of photographs taken by musicians who were given a simple assignment: use up a disposable camera sent to them, and send it back.
The gallery is steered by a committee of people who have had experience both as artists and curators – a group devoted to displaying the exciting talent that is inherent in youth. They are always open to ideas, submissions and discussions regarding visual art shows and potential shows, as well as small-scale performances within the gallery space.
