Seeking Showprint Interns

Showpaper started in NYC as a free, bi-weekly, print only guide to all-ages events city-wide. There are variations of the original in cities all over the place, now including Reno as Showprint. In order to keep the Reno Showprint going we need your help!

We are looking for a couple of high school students to intern with the Holland Project in producing Showprint for December-March. You will learn how to layout a calendar in Adobe InDesign; work with local businesses to acquire sponsors and upcoming event postings; how to use a letterpress to print and have a say in how Reno’s all-ages scene is represented.

If you’re interested please email Sarah at sarah@hollandreno.org for more information. Applications are due Mon. Nov. 7, 2011.
