Work In Progress

Work in Progress or WIP  is an annual, 5-month program introducing advanced art techniques to local high school students through a series of workshop sessions led by talented local/regional artists. Through WIP, students create original artwork utilizing skills learned during the weekly workshops, collaborate with each other in curating an exhibition of their work and events in the HP Gallery, and learn how to get involved in the local arts community. This year’s program will run from October 11, 2023 – February 14, 2024 followed by the big exhibition in February 2024. WIP workshops happen every Wednesday after school at the Holland Project and are free for all participating high school students. Past workshops have included sculpture, stop motion animation, screen printing, watercolor painting, film photography, fashion & sewing, and much more. Space is limited and applications to participate are required.
