On Sunday, Holland hosts Raein, Birdbrain, and Saving Alleya. Coming all the way from Italy, Raein have resurrected and mastered the long lost genre of screamo. Similar to 90’s classics ampere and orchid as well as modern acts like Loma Prieta, Raein hits it out of the park with intelligent, emotional, and aggressive punk. They aren’t to be missed! Hailing from southern California, Birdbrain is Raein’s ambassador to the United States. Birdbrain specializes in discordant hardcore reminiscent of the great Botch. Birdbrain takes the template of Botch, and moves it forward, with members of Phoenix Bodies, Lords, and Despise You. To round out the night, we have local metalcore group Saving Alleya!
