On June 6th Spoken Views Collective is proud to present author,  educator, and spoken word poet Michelle Myers. Myers has been featured on Def Poetry Jam, co-founded the poetry group Yellow Rage, and is the author of a new book, The She Book. Her poetry is driven by activism and issues regarding race. The Always awesome Elisa Garcia will be opening, so there’s no reason to miss this. In addition there will be an open mic before hand and a poetry workshop headed by Michelle. Thursday, June 6th at 7:30pm, $5. The workshop will take place from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
