I’m gonna go ahead and say that August 26 of the year 2013 might be the best night of music ever. Holland is hosting No Age (!!!!!), Protect Me, Surf Curse, and Cat Jelly. HOT DAMN! No Age are true indie rock heroes, they stay to their ethics and play awesome music. Also it doesn’t heart they’re on Sub Pop! Originating in the LA Smell scene No Age play a perfect mix of punk, lo-fi garage, and shoegaze. Seriously not to be missed! No Age is bringing along fellow Los Angelinos Protect Me. Protect me file under rad lo-fi post punk. Surf Curse is probably the most fun band in town with their brand of Surf Pop. Finally Cat Jelly are probably the most creative band in Reno and have an awesome CD! Don’t miss this no matter what; cancel work, fly in, don’t die. August 26 at 8PM $8 adv. $10 door.
