Art&Poetry from the Front Lines

Come for an evening of storytelling, poetry, and art focusing on the untold stories of the housing crisis. The event will feature art and poetry from the firsthand experience of our neighbors living in weekly motels and our houseless neighbors and will bring a new life and perspective to the issue.
This event is being planned and hosted by the ACTIONN Speakers’ Bureau. The Speakers’ Bureau consists of members of the community who have experienced houselessness and/or living in weekly motels and are working to organize their neighbors to take action on substantive solutions. Their art will be available for purchase and their stories and poems will be presented during the event.
Suggestion entry donation is $5, but no one will be turned away for inability to pay. All proceeds will go to fund stipends for members of the Speakers’ Bureau to fund their organizing and story-sharing work. Advance donations can be made here: https://secure.actblue.com/
