Alex has been designing and building tube amps out of the Pacific Northwest for over ten years. Over this time, the distinctive sonic and visual aesthetic of his handmade Science amps has developed a committed and growing following among musicians and gearheads. We’ll talk with Alex about what it takes to make an amp from scratch and about his unique approach to this esoteric trade which combines taste, musicality and technical know-how.
