B. Dolan is coming back to town on March 6th with Rubedo, and Wheelchair Sports Camp. Franc Friday+Spellbinder are chipping in too! It’ll be awesome! B. Dolan got his chops in spoken word, contributing to HBO’s Def Poetry jam, then continued his mastery of the spoken arts in the arena of Hip Hop. Signing to Sage Francis’ much acclaimed Strange Famous Records, Dolan is one of the most coveted MC’s in Underground Hip Hop. At to make this night even more ridiculously awesome he’ll be performing with Rubedo! Rubedo play synthy math rock with a reggae twist. Wheelchair Sports Camp is union of Kalyn, a disabled, wheelchair bound MC/beat-maker/activist/shit-talker, and a band of live and electronic instruments with a more jazzy, noisey, funky, combination than a traditional hip-hop group. We’re pretty pumped. Franc Friday and Spellbinder aren’t only Reno’s two most interesting Hip Hop players, but really one of the most interesting things happening in town at all (even more interesting than Tesla!). They combine golden era hip hop, with modern dark synth beats, and the fiercest MC in town. RULES RULES RULES! Friday, March 7th at 8:30PM $7!
