Bathed in Sunshine, Covered in Dust: An Introduction to Contemporary Art in Reno, NV

This full gallery exhibit, curated by Jen Graham and Sarah Lillegard, features work by Kyle Walker Akins, Megan Berner, Kaitlin Bryson, Alisha Funkhouser, Dane Haman, Ahren Hertel, Nick Larsen, Michelle Lassaline, Michelle Laxalt, Jaxon Northon, Omar Alan Pierce, Emily Rogers, Jared Stanley and Claire Stephens. Bringing together a collection of work by these local artists, Bathed in Sunshine (…) opens the visual discussion of what is the distinct quality and role of art in the region. The exhibit includes a digital publication with essays by J. Damron, Megan Kay and Tanya Gayer as well as a poem by Jeff Alessandrelli.
The exhibit runs Feb. 3-28 with an opening reception Sat. Feb. 8 5-7PM and a panel/audience talk at 6PM.
