BOD, People with Bodies, Pry (First Show)

What does “Post- jet ski grungegaze” mean? We don’t have a clue, but I have a feeling that we’ll find out on April 28th when BOD comes through Reno!
BOD is a Seattle based band who mixes the sounds of shoegaze, power-pop, and grunge for a party band that sounds like Parquet Courts tried making the soundtrack to a spacey art film from the 80’s and got pretty lost along the way. Their new album “Party Drug” Totally shreds and we can’t wait to see these guys in action. Joining them are our faves,
People with Bodies, spinning clever lyrics and guitar rock into some killer catchy pavement-esc tunes. Making their debut at this show is Pry, the new Viet-Cong/Iceage inpired project from Watson and Victoria, mixing shoegaze and playful post-punk into what I’m sure will be a set for the books!
