David Dondero, Up is the Down is the, Southnorth

On May 15th we welcome back acclaimed singer/songwriter David Dondero with locals Up is the Down is the and Southnorth. This will be Dondero’s third back at Holland and we couldn’t be more excited! Named by NPR as one of the greatest living songwriters and jocked by famed artist like Connor Oberst (Bright Eyes), Dondero plays acoustic folk music in the tradition of the early 50’s and 60’s. Up is the Down is one man band made up of of Andrew Martin (once of Buster Blue!). It falls somewhere some songs emulate 50’s rock and some seem like indie rock played over a salsa beat. IT RULES! Southnorth is the solo project of Kent Irwin of Actors Killed Lincoln. We hear it’s his singer/songwriter project and we have high expectations. Thursday, May 15th at 8PM $5 advance $7 door!
