Decked-Out Denim: ArtWalk at Bad Apple VNTG

The Midtown Artwalk is coming up, Thursday, July 27th + we’re having another block party!
“Decked-Out Denim” is a silen auction / fundraiser to help raise money for KWNK Radio, set to go FM in the fall! (www.kwnkradio.org) If you aren’t too familiar with KWNK, they are a community-run radio station brought to you by The Holland Project, Reno Bike Project, and Wolf Pack Radio . A blend of radio show’s from UNR’s Wolf Pack Radio and free-form programming from those interested in controlling the airwaves, this is an incredible opportunity for music lovers all around.
“Decked-Out Denim” features a variety of denim jackets and vests decorated by local artists- whether it be with paint, embroidery, or who knows what else!

Make sure to come early to place you dibs on your favorite jacket – bidding will end when the Artwalk is over and highest bidder will be notified the next day.
On Mary St. :
– Wolf Pack Radio will be controling the tunes on the block + between performances
– The Holland Project has a few local bands performing as usual 😉
– We’ll have Reno Double Dutch making another special appreance ~ don’t be shy, just jump right in! This is the perfect time to learn!
– Reno’s Planned Parenthood will be tabling ! Get informed!
– BlackbirdGo will have an interactive photobooth to remember the night!
– Your favorite vegan food truck Nom Eats will be posted up, serving up your favorite burritos !
The event is from 4pm-9pm.
