Fleshcraft Opening Reception

Fleshcraft is a series of paintings in gouache, ink and watercolor by local artist, Lainey Williams, focusing on the idea of the relationship between a parasite and its host in which the hosts welcome the changes in their bodies, and in doing so have been transformed; they are neither wholly parasite, nor wholly human, but something entirely new. 

Fleshcraft in on view from August 12 – September 30 in the Holland Project Micro Gallery located inside Bibo Coffee Co. at 945 Record Street. Be sure to stop by the Opening Reception on Wednesday, Aug. 21 from 6-8pm!
