DIY Fuzz Pedal Workshop
May 23, 2020 @ 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM • $60
Time to make some crazy noise in the comfort of your own home! Holland Project is offering another workshop in collaboration with More Gain Audio and Odd Time Electronics – participants will get to make their very own fuzz pedal, The Dutch Oven. Workshop includes a hand-designed PCB, all necessary components, a pre-drilled enclosure, and an in-depth instructional video. You’ll get everything you need either via delivery to your house or by ‘curbside pickup’ from Holland. We’ll also schedule two special workshop Zoom sessions – one on March 23rd to go over the kit and get everyone started, and one to check-in and do some troubleshooting once everyone has assembled their pedals. This workshop is perfect for beginners with little or no electronics experience, or for solder-junkies looking to hone their skills. Although its name might suggest otherwise, The Dutch Oven is a remarkably non-flatulent sounding fuzz pedal. Make your own and get cookin’!
$60 covers your pedal kit and gets you access to the instructional vid and Zoom meet-ups and all funds help benefit Holland. Kits are limited for this one and registration closes on May 16th so be sure to claim your spot asap! Due to delivery/pick-up constraints this workshop is only open to local folks this time around.
You’ll also need a soldering iron and wire strippers for this workshop. If you don’t already have these tools handy you can pick ’em up real cheap here —> Soldering irons + Wire strippers
IN THE EVENT THIS WORKSHOP FILLS UP – please email alisha@hollandreno.org to be added to the waiting list and learn about future workshops.
