Human Leather are a Salt Lake City synth-pop duo, mostly… It’s not really fair to stop there. Made up of Adam of Choir Boy and Chazz of Sculpture Club, their sound takes the saddest sounds of pop, the happiest sounds of darkwave, and the anthemic style of the 80’s and turns it into heartbreaking tunes that will get stuck in your head for days. We’re real stoked. On the local front, City Wolves are bringing all their longing and all their noise for a set of loud post-punk tunes, mixing in new wave and pop influence into something special. To top it off, Tea Haze and Lo Adams just released a collaborative EP, and they’ve been doing a handful of very special sets together to support it. It’s no surprise that Lo Adams’ dark hip-hop/soul sound mixes so perfectly with Tea Haze’s hypnotic/psychedelic electronic tunes.
