In a Broken World Closing Reception

For the final Serva Pool exhibit of the year we have a banger for you! Reno-based artists, Ashley Westwood and Omar Pierce’s audio/visual installation titled, In a Broken World, illustrates the hazy realms between their own recollections and experienced realities. As they describe, “In our lives we tune in and out of dream-states, and much like radio interference, there are traces of faraway channels that linger”. This installation incorporates a full mixtape-soundtrack of home recordings contributed by Lauren Baker, Alex Crowe, Justin Craperi, Robbie Racine and Ian Yount.

The exhibit will be up from Nov. 14 – Dec. 1 with a Closing Reception on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 6-8pm.
