Intro to Making Comics

Ever wanted to know how to make your own comics? Time to give it a shot and see what you can do!
This workshop gives the essentials to begin producing your own comics. Through a breakdown of the medium combined with a one-sheet mini-comic exercise, participants will learn how to think in terms of sequential narrative and be able to use that in any future comics projects.
Participants will be led by local artist CJ Joughin. CJ is a graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies with a Masters in Comics and Cartooning and has been making comics for over a decade. Supplies are included in the $5 registration fee, but bring your favorite drawing tools if you have ’em! This workshop is open to any level of comics making experience.
