Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter James McCartney has remained fiercely dedicated to his musical vision of melding smart hooks and feral alt-rock with the grandeur of psychedelic music. James has been working hard to make a name for himself, and boy has he. Recieving praise from Rolling Stone, The Boston Globe, The New York Times, and The Daily News and tirelessly touring the US, Europe and the UK, he’s out with his best work yet (The Blackberry Train) engineered by the great Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies and PJ Harvey). Joining McCartney is Crush, the Reno kings of fuzzy alt-rock, and Fine Motor, an incredible new (to Reno) Yo La Tengo esc project.
