Mary Ocher, Solterona, Championship Masterpiece

After the biting disappointment of Terror Bird canceling we at Holland knew we had to make Solterona’s debut that much more special. We’re happy to tell you we think we have on March 5th. We’ll be hosting Solterona with Berlin’s Marcy Ocher and the debut of Reno’s own Championship Masterpiece! Solterona is the project of local awesome person Jaimie Hemingway. It’s beautiful synth pop, it’ll make you dance and cry with heartbreak! Mary Ocher is a dead ringer for punk Kate Bush! It’s weird and maybe the coolest thing ever! Chapionship Masterpiece is Alex Korostinsky (Mark Sexton, Colors of the Universe, Synthesizher) and Dan Weiss (Keyser Soze, Mark Sexton, countless other groups) making breakbeat.
