Meshes Video Art with Wednesday Kim

Meshes Video Art brings together works by contemporary artists alongside video material that informs and inspires their practice. That material can be anything from other artists’ works, viral videos, animations, excerpts from TV and film, and more. In November 2019, we are thrilled to present a program curated by artists Wednesday Kim.
Kim is an interdisciplinary artist currently based out of Alaska (originally hailing from South Korea, also having lived in Los Angeles, New York, among others). Her work in video, performance, installation, and sculpture employ the bizarre and grotesque images of dreams and the subconcious. Kim’s Meshes presentation will include numerous recent works by the artist alongside selections of videos from televsion, advertising, and other pop culture findings.
