Opossum Sun Trail are rolling in from Arcata, bringing their cinematic take on spaghetti western and psychedelic music and we’re STOKED. Described by Dying for Bad Music as “like a menu of acid laced greek yoghurt, after a main course of spaghetti western with a side of sauerkraut-rock and american goth primitivism”, these guys make crazy soundscapes that throw ya into the crazy world they created. Joining em, Color TV are local indie rockers, mixing blues and garage-punk influences into an incredibly high energy live performance, and a group of dedicated fans that 3 shows in, already know every word. To top it off, Dylan Coffman is a local sweetheart, creating “Portola-style” country western music, inclusive of punk and folk attitudes into a project that acts as a reflection of himself, and it’s incredible.
