Poetry Out Loud

Join the Holland Project, the Nevada Museum of Art and 12 finalists from Washoe County School high schools as they compete to represent the county at the State Competition. Poetry Out Loud is a contest that encourages the nation’s youth to learn about great poetry through memorization and recitation. This program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about their literary heritage.
Competition starts at 5:30PM at the Nevada Museum of Art and is free!
