Prawn, Frameworks, In my Dream I Saw a City Invincible

April 25th we have an insanely awesome show with Prawn, Frameworks, and In My Dream I Saw a City Invincible! Signed to emo powerhouse label Topshelf Records (home of bands like Into It. Over It. And The World is a Beautiful Place), Prawn is constantly toeing the boundaries of what is considered emo and what isnt. They sound like J. Mascis fronting late 90’s Modest Mouse and it rules! Joining Prawn on their tour is emo/post-hardcore group Frameworks! Frameworks take the waltzing tempo of a Titus Andronicus song and then put some Deafhaven hardcore into it. IT RULES!! And if those two arent awesome enough, In My Dream I Saw a City Invincible will be here too with their epic post-rock tunes. AWESOME!! April 25th, 140 Vesta St., 7:30 PM, $5adv/$7 at the door.
