Rocky Votolato: MAKERS 10 Year Anniversary w/ Chris Staples, Differentseasons

Rocky Votolato has a long history with Reno, playing every iteration of Holland Project and the houses of our friends. His unique style of indie-folk-punk, long stories told over the sound of his guitar, and sparse musical arrangements paint a picture of American desperation and redemption. This picture hits what might be it’s most bleak mark on his iconic album “Makers”, starting with the soft and heart wrenching “White Daisy Passing”. Rocky will be bringing a full band to bring “Makers” to life, and present it as it was intended to be heard. Joining him on tour is the incredibly talented Chris Staples, with a career spanning over 20 years hopping between full indie/emo bands, and solo acoustic performances. Joining us for local support is Differentseasons, a young emo band who’s sound isn’t too far off from Rocky’s band Waxwing.
