Sam Mickens (ex. Xiu Xiu, The Dead Science), Ziemba, Werewolf Club

Sam Mickens! Los Angeles based art rock extrordenaire, and has been a member of prominent bands such as Xiu Xiu and The Dead Science. He played the very first Holland Project show ever with his group Degenerate Art Ensemble, and we’re so excited to have him back!
Sam’s strong vibrato vocals and ear for melody make his dark and romantic tunes a pleasure to listen to. The, at times, wild instrumentation sits right atop steady and driving drum-machine tracks. Sam Mickens rules, and we can’t wait! Joining is Brooklyn project, Ziemba. Ziemba mixes the sounds of modern Julia-Holter esc baroque pop and Nancy Sinatra styled 60’s pop, and it’s incredible! On the local front, we have Werewolf Club! They’ve been killing it lately with their brand of dark and danceable synth-pop, and they always put on a killer show.
