An Evening with Gloria Steinem

Gloria Steinem is a trailblazer; a pioneer; a fierce and inspiring advocate; a social and political activist; an acclaimed journalist and lecturer; and a seminal feminist leader. For more than half a century, Steinem has worked tirelessly to advance equality and at 81 years old, hasn’t slowed down. Steinem is particularly interested in the shared origins of sex and race caste systems, gender roles and child abuse as roots of violence, non-violent conflict resolution, the cultures of indigenous peoples, and organizing across boundaries for peace and justice. Her most recent book, My Life on the Road, tells a story she has never told before, a candid account of her life as a traveler, a listener, and a catalyst for change.

We are honored to present an Evening with Gloria Steinem on September 20 at Nightingale Concert Hall in partnership with Sundance Books and Music and Nevada Humanities. Book signing at 5:30PM | Event at 7PM.
