SVC Poetry Slam

A first time event mixing the idea of Spoken View’s Speak Easy Open Mic with a Poetry Slam on April 23rd! So how does it work? It’s basically a poetry slam competition with improvised music backing the poetry. Each sign up will be expected to have 3 poems and will be judged each round on a scale of 0.0-10.0. Half will advance to the second round. A third round will determine the winner. $10 to Slam, winner take all! $5 to watch and free if you judge! Please visit www.spokenviews.com to obtain slam rules.
