The bands can’t get out of Wyoming fast enough to make it here today (roads are still super bad and the drive is like 14 something hours on a good day), so we’re wishing them safe and steady travels and will work on getting a new date as soon as we can. November 12th we are beyond excited to announce the return of The World is a Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid To Die along with Foxing, TTNG, Brightside, and Skinwalkers! TWIABP, an atmospheric emo 8-piece from Connecticut, has been one of the figureheads of the emo revival movement of the past few years. They take the catharsis of Funeral-era Arcade Fire and combine it with the early emo roots of bands like Desaparecidos and Cursive. Co-headling this show is the emo powerhouse band Foxing, who’s new album Dealer has been getting immense amounts of praise! Stereogum described it as “a wild album, one that weaves such relatively disparate strands as the Wrens and Sufjan Stevens and American Football into something grand” and we cannot wait for that energy to be brought into Holland. And rounding out the bill is the math-rock/emo band TTNG, indie-rock boppers Brightside, and local emo rockers Skinwalkers! WE CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS!
