A Holland staff favorite, and overall siq band. These Seattle punks on Kill Rock Stars (Bikini Kill, Sleater Kinney) make jangley sing-along punk that’s all heart. They were voted 2015’s best punk band in Seattle, which they earned with flying colors. Their style consists of wild throwback punk, mixing in B-52s esc post-punk. On the local front, Arizona Young are young spuds on the scene, but put together incredibly high-energy and wild sets combining humerous folk-punk with more mature bedroom pop, and as many instruments as they can fit on stage. If you haven’t seen them, here’s your chance! To top it off, we have Moons Vega! Featuring some of the scene’s most seasoned musicians, playing new wave influence post-punk.
