Writers Workshop – Concrete and Abstract Language: The Importance of Being in Scene

Join us for this summer’s Writers Workshop! This FREE workshop is for writers of all-ages and experience levels. Hosting this workshop will be poet and English professor, Lindsay Wilson, where Wilson will go in depth through creative writing and language exercises to expand your knowledge on writing poetry and prose. Bring a notebook and some pens and come write with us!

 

Lindsay Wilson is the second Reno Poet Laureate promoting poetry throughout the Reno area. He is an English professor at the Truckee Meadows Community College, and editor for the national literary journal, The Meadow. He has been a published poet with his book, No Elegies, multiple chapbooks such as Black-Footed Country, and his DIY publication, Unwound.
