Youth Chess Club

Introducing after-school Chess Club for kids ages 5 – 11 at Holland! Learn the rules, study chess strategy, and play with other kids!
Taught by veteran chess instructor Ilya Arbatman (with over 12 years experience including in Washoe County Schools), these classes are open to all skill levels and kids with no chess knowledge are very welcome. Covid protocols will be in place for the duration of the six class session, each player will use their own board to increase distancing and reduce contact with other kids. Masks are also required.
Sign-ups open now for October 14-Nov 18 on Wednesday afternoons 3:00-4:30PM. Tuition is $85 and all materials included. Classes will be held at the Holland Project, 140 Vesta St., Reno.
