Hip Hop Holland this past Saturday was amazing to say the least. I was blown away at how many positive, talented, young hip hop artists there are in this town! The Holland Project wants to start having a series of monthly all ages Hip Hop Holland shows, so if you missed the first, be sure to not miss the next one!

Local graffiti artists displayed their skills and talents all throughout the night…


Rajbot showed us his beat making skills and taught us how to sample and make beats of our own!

Emic took center stage and flowed and freestyled to start things off…

McGimmick were up next and they blew away the crowd with their positive vibes and mellow jazzy hip hop sound with live bass, flute, and some excellent rhymes.

Apprentice and Ramses took the stage next and really got the crowd moving with their high energy rhymes and beats. Ramses even had his whole family on stage with him at one point performing a song dedicated to love!

Tree Woods and Lacey ended the night with an awesome set and gave mad props to the Holland Project and all of the performers of the evening.

The whole night was truly amazing and we are just so happy to finally have a venue where all ages of people can come see positive hip hop music to help the independent hip hop scene in Reno grow!
