Attention all zinesters out there; artists, poets, writers, analysts, chefs, and rabble rousers, etc. A group of Reno Hollandites got together this past weekend to discuss the putting together of a collaborative community zine of sorts. This could contain many things (its up to YOU!) such as stories, show reviews, music reviews, photos from around town, poems, upcoming events, pictures, craft ideas, drawings, paintings, an advice column, recipes, comic strips, collages, etc. etc. etc. Lets get creative and ACTIVE!

Have you ever thought of doing your own zine but just never quite got around to it? Well, submit to this one! Its a forum where you could make your voice heard!

The plan is to have one out every 2 months starting in February 2009. The zine will be placed strategically all around town for people to pick up and enjoy our creative energies put to paper.

Issue #1 will be released February 15th, so our first deadline for submissions will be February 1st. So use your holiday hours off of work wisely and create something to submit to the Holland Reno Commmunity Zine! Send all submissions to hollandrenozine@gmail.com by February 1st, 2009 and look for our first issue all around town near Valentines Day! Go!
