Sep. 01 – Oct. 23, 2020

A Claiming, Which Cannot Be Tamed, brings together four artists within different trajectories of their practice and careers. This includes Fawn Douglas, Tiffany Lin, Erick Mendel, and César Piedra. They are all protagonists in our collective process of acknowledging the past and the reconstruction of our future. They push against the context of imperialist legacies, late-stage capitalism, and the sociopolitical by questioning and challenging them through their practice.

This exhibition features video, textiles, sculpture, and drawing; artworks that investigate power structures, and explore cultural identity, through consumer culture, nationhood, and symbolism.
