Roots: A Pan-Asian Renaissance”, pop-up exhibition organized by Nevada Kappa Phi.

Roots: A Pan-Asian Renaissance” is a cultural showcase consisting of various creative mediums in the works of four local Pan-Asian artists, Matthew Alighchi, Joshua Chang, Megha Malik, and Mary Young, aiming to bring more awareness of Pan-Asian issues and shed light on the talents of our community. Each artists’ work is unique to their own roots, inspirations, experiences, and complex identities. Collectively, these works are a window and step into envisioning a more holistic representation of what it means to be Pan-Asian and Asian-American. These works represent rebirth, resilience, and the transient evolving nature of our identities with the hope to create a sense of belonging and unity within the Pan-Asian community in our shared experiences.
